About Washington Seafood Market
Washington Seafood Market is a seafood market in East Point, Georgia. It is listed at 1765 Washington Rd, East Point, GA 30344, which places it among the local businesses of East Point that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as seafood restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in East Point with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Georgia may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (404) 768-2914. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
With 3.9 out of 5 on Google from 847 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for seafood markets in East Point. Recent reviews are the best guide.
East Point is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and East Point follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Great seafood, there is no seating in the restaurant. I would recommend sitting in your car or standing outside. Because there A/C doesn't work so it very hot.

The seafood wasnβt seasoned very well, like it had seasoning on it but still was flavorless. The broccoli was super soft like mush and really no flavor either. The charging extra for it to be peeled deveined and all that is crazy especially when it still had some poop in it but I get it. I came home and made my own juicy style sauce so that made it better.

It smells so good and it was quickly made. Good service and my food good hot and nice and seasoned. The corn was sweet to and fresh and so was the shrimp. Ah phenomenal black business here.

The food is not all that. Nice presentation of everything. Very clean but the fried shrimp suck and fries but I will go back and try something different. Everything is tasteless even after seasoning it. Lacks favor and the fries are not fried long enough to have a crunch.and tater sauce is NASTY. Itβs a whole bunch of guys in there that need to be on the grill because seafood is not y'all specialty!!

I have been to this place twice now. The first time was an order for a BBQ wings and fries combo. The location presents an off kilter aesthetic, however the food and customer service is well above average. The second time ordering, I placed for a 10 piece lemon pepper and fries combo. The fries have yet to disappoint and that means a lot to me. They are a thicker cut shoe string fry that have the right amount of salty flavor yet don't hold the oil from the fry basket. The wings, lemon pepper included, have an amazing texture, that is not mostly fat and skin which is quite common for fast food wings. The crispness of the skin, that is there, is just enough to satisfy a crunch as you bite into the meat of it. The texture of the meat is firm and cooked semi hard to perfection. The lemon pepper seasoning is quite rich in an above average way. The lemon clearly shines through and the butter makes a guest appearance letting you know its there all while the salt and pepper neither venture to over indulge the palate. There is a lingering amount of butter/oil left over from this chicken though. The main gripe about the chicken is the size of what is considered to count as one of the chicken
